SPATIAL MATTERS explores the intersection of interior design, brand experience, and digital fabrication. Together with the GLAD collective and our clients, Guy Lafranchi develops immersive environments that make brands tangible, shape identities, and transform advanced technologies into sensorial spaces.

Each project is an adventurous journey: interiors, brand landscapes, and digital processes merge into spatial narratives that are experimental, inspiring, and one-of-a-kind – rooted in craft, innovation, and visionary design.

World of Forms and Experience The Stadelmann world of experience is derived from the folds and pressure conditions under which gemstones are formed. This principle is reinterpreted through the interplay of Corian and precious wood – a tension between hardness and warmth, precision and sensuality. As with the limited GLAD Furniture editions, this gives rise to a unique world of forms and experiences.

In collaboration with Form AG, GLAD created the store design for NORQAIN – with flagship stores in Zermatt, Singapore and Zurich. Founded in 2018 by CEO Ben Küffer together with co-founders Ted Schneider and Mark Streit, NORQAIN is one of the few fully independent Swiss watch brands still in family ownership. As an independent brand, NORQAIN is passionately dedicated to creating innovative, high-quality timepieces.

Limited Furniture Design The worlds of modern material and fabrication technologies and traditional craftsmanship are brought together by Guy Lafranchi, whose distinctive formal language creates unique furniture and objects. These pieces are featured in residences, office environments, and exhibitions such as in Dubai and at the Milan Furniture Fair.

WALL GAME

WALL GAME is the reinterpretation of a wall – not as a dividing element, but as a communicator, exhibition surface, workshop wall, and sound regulator. Conceived as mobile and realized by Form AG through innovative digital fabrication, the project combines functionality with the formal worlds of Guy Lafranchi. Location: Form AG.

Guy Lafranchi`s "GladScapes". Since 2021

"GladScapes" appear in each case in limited edition, they are printed, hand-sewn noble silk scarves.

The motifs come from selected images and project sketches which are created in each case in the conceptual start phase. They belong to certain stories and emotions. These can be seen on the packaging. One carries not only a cool motive, but also a story, a concept. First presentation of GladScapes Ltd took place in Sept 2021. The edition 2021 is sold out, the edition 2022 was presented in November 2022 in the traditional fashion house Ciolina in Bern.
